The SWISH Fellows Summit occurring Friday, December 4, 2026, from 12:00 to 5:00 PM MST, aims to strengthen Fellows-In-Training’s foundational knowledge and professional development. It begins with the Fellows Case Competition, featuring the top 10 cases selected by the Program Committee from all submissions. These cases highlight complex procedures, complication management, or innovative techniques in structural heart intervention. Each presentation is followed by a panel discussion, and the overall winner is announced at the end.
Attendees then enhance their technical and procedural skills through small-group simulator, wet lab, and model training, offering hands-on practice. The workshops’ multimodal stations provide an immersive experience to improve imaging and procedural expertise. Participants' training is guided by SWISH faculty and supported by clinical specialists from partner companies. These sessions cover device deployment, advanced imaging, and best practices, using straightforward, case-based, problem-solving, and mentor-guided approaches in small groups. Topics include TAVR, Cardiogenic Shock, TEER, LAAO, and Advanced Imaging for Structural Heart Disease Interventions.
The Summit is not only for Fellows! Practicing physicians at all levels are encouraged to attend the SWISH Fellows Summit on Friday, December 4, 2026, for a valuable and comprehensive review.
