The inaugural SWISH Fellows Summit on December 4th is designed to actively engage participants in their learning through an interactive curriculum. It fosters a supportive environment that promotes community and camaraderie and facilitates personal and professional growth. 

The summit kicks off with a Case-Based Panel Discussion with the Experts, who evaluate a compendium of complex cases, assess optimal clinical decision-making strategies and procedural approaches, and address attendee questions. Next is the Fellows Case Competition, featuring the top 5 cases selected by the Program Committee from all submissions. These cases showcase complex procedures, complication management, or innovative techniques in cardiac interventions. After each presentation, a panel discussion follows, and the overall winner is announced at the end. 

Participants then improve their technical and procedural capabilities through small-group simulator, wet lab, and model training. The workshops feature multimodal stations that provide an immersive experience, enhancing imaging and procedural skills through interactive training led by SWISH faculty and supported by clinical specialists at participating companies. Training includes step-by-step, hands-on instruction and technology-driven training, employing a case-based, problem-solving, mentor-centered approach in small groups. 

Not only for Fellows! Practicing physicians at all levels are permitted to attend. An option to select Summit attendance will be available during SWISH 2026 Registration. The Summit is designated for a maximum of 4.5 AMA PRA CATEGORY 1 Credit(s)™.  Space is limited, so we recommend that you reserve your attendance during SWISH registration. 

Fellows Attendance Scholarships  • Limited to 50 Fellows. 

Fellows can apply for full-attendance scholarships that cover registration to the SWISH Fellows Summit on Friday, December 4th, and the SWISH Main Conference on Saturday, December 5th, two nights of hotel accommodations, and travel expenses.  

Scholarships are available to Fellows entering into or serving their Fellowship in North America. Fellows who receive scholarships must commit to attending the SWISH Fellows Summit and the Main Conference.

Scholarship recipients are encouraged to submit a unique case to the Case Competition that focuses on a complex procedure, complication management, or an advanced or novel technique in structural heart intervention. 

The Program Committee will judge the submissions, and the authors of the 5 best cases will present their work at the Case Competition Session. The overall winner will receive a $1,000 honorarium and a commemorative plaque, and each runner-up will receive a $500 honorarium.
