Fellows Case Competition

Share a Complex Case with Colleagues and Leading Experts!

Fellows are encouraged to submit a unique case to the Case Competition that focuses on a complex procedure, complication management, or an advanced or novel technique in structural heart intervention. The Program Committee will judge the submissions, and the authors of the 5 best cases will present their work during the Case Competition Session. The overall winner will receive a $1,000 honorarium and a commemorative plaque, and each runner-up will receive a $500 honorarium.

*While not required, entering a Case into the Competition is encouraged. Participation is limited to attendees who qualify for a Scholarship. Cases may be submitted no later than November 1, 2026). 

Participation Criteria 

1. Participation is limited to attendees who qualify for a Scholarship. 
2. Submit an Interesting Case in abstract format by November 15, 2026, focusing on a complex procedure, management of a complication, or advanced/novel technique. The submitted Case Abstract should not exceed 750 words; up to 5 images/figures may also be submitted with your abstract, although they are not required. 
3. The Program Committee will review all submissions and select the Best three Cases to present during the Case Competition Session. 
4. Applicants will be notified of the decision by mid November.
5. The Case Competition Session will feature 7-minute case presentations from the 5 finalists, each followed by 8-minute post-presentation review discussions between presenters and panelists. (A maximum of 10 PowerPoint slides may be used for the case presentations.) The overall winner will be announced after all case presentations. 

The Conference Organizer, MediaSphere Medical, will coordinate the participation of the Case Competition finalists and the provision of honoraria to the overall winner and runners-up.
