On behalf of our faculty, we are happy to welcome you to SWISH 2025 and look forward to your attendance.
Friday begins with our special session, “ECMO and MCS in the Cath Lab,” which will cover the key elements needed to build and sustain a successful program. This is followed by our popular debate sessions, featuring faculty with opposing viewpoints on timely and sometimes controversial topics—always a highlight of SWISH.
Saturday, our second day, is dedicated entirely to case-based discussions. Faculty from leading institutions will present unique and challenging cases that emphasize practical decision-making, procedural approaches, complication management, and the use of new tools and techniques. Attendees will be able to score each case using our Audience Response System, and the top-rated case will be announced at the end of the program.
This year, we are also introducing an important and timely presentation: “My Journey: Trials, Tribulations, and Vindication of a TAVR Lawsuit.” This session aims to prompt an open, honest discussion about the legal challenges that physicians may unexpectedly face in their careers. In addition, Dr. Kaki will share insights from his own experience with a lawsuit involving a large hospital system. We hope that these conversations will be informative, supportive, and grounded in real-world lessons.
Be sure to visit the Hands-On Breakout Workshop: Learning MPR and 3D ICE for Structural Heart Interventions, available throughout the day on Saturday for individualized and small-group training.
